CLINICAL AROMATHERAPY
Clinical Massage Care Uses 100% Pure, Organic Essential Oils
Clinical aromatherapy is an alternative medicine therapy using essential oils extracted from seeds, stems, leaves, needles, petals, flowers, rinds and fruits, woods and resins, roots and rhizomes, and grasses.
This therapy can be beneficial for clients to aide in symptom management for pain, nausea, respiratory, general well-being, anxiety, depression, stress, and insomnia.
Essential oils are extremely beneficial, however, they can be dangerous and toxic if used inappropriately, with some being flammable, causing skin dermatitis, being phototoxic with risk of a chemical burn, or causing oral toxicity or in rare cases, death.
We do not use essential oils with our pediatric or geriatric clients without a physician’s written consent. Clinical Massage Care therapists has advanced specialty training and have developed in-house protocols for the best practice incorporating clinical aromatherapy into our services.
